Members of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce honored an unclaimed piece of property at the end of Meadowpark Dr. behind the First United Methodist Church as the September Rural Beauty Spot. The space had been eroded by runoff water and over grown with weeds. Mike Jordan, whose home is adjacent to the property, had the area landscaped with stones to reduce erosion and added a walking path.
