The date for the annual Handicapable Rodeo in Franklin County has been set for Friday, Oct. 16. The event will be conducted at the Duke Arena on CR 3285 in Mount Vernon from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. More than 500 participants are expected at the event. Volunteers for the event are always needed to help with the children and the event, as well as to provide funding to purchase the items each child receives.
