The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce announced this week they are extending their Yard of the Month and Rural Beauty Spot program to include decorations for Halloween and Thanksgiving for 2009. The deadline to enter for the Halloween award is Thursday, Oct. 22 by 2 p.m. See the Oct. 15 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
