Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Approximately 30 people attended the All Souls Day ceremony at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery on Monday, Nov. 2. The ceremony was conducted by members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mount Vernon. Rev. Ambrose Chinnappa officiated. All Souls Day is a day the Church on earth prays for the souls of all the departed.
