Daniel Ciraiz, Jacob Marquez, and Chris Servin were quick to review the dictionaries they received from the Mount Vernon Rotary Club on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at Mount Vernon Elementary School. Each year, the local Rotary Club gives third grade students at Mount Vernon Elementary an English dictionary and a English to Spanish dictionary. This year, more than 130 students received dictionaries. Students in the third grade at Saltillo ISD also received them as a part of the program. Rex Norris visited Saltillo, and Rusty Rutledge, Ann Holland, and Sandy Sariago passed out books at Mount Vernon. Rotary Interact students Kaitlyn Reeves, Chelsey Huizinga, and Hannah Golden also assisted with the project.
