Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is around the corner, and planning for the annual Christmas festival has commenced. The date has been set for Saturday, Dec. 5 with the parade beginning at 5:30 p.m.Several events are being planned for the festival beyond the annual parade. Those include craft vendors around the plaza, pictures with Santa on the plaza, a chili cook off and Dept. 56 snow village display at the Old Depot Museum, For mofe information, see the Nov. 5 edition of the Optic-Herald.
