A U.S. Army Honor Guard detail left Fort Hood the morning prior to the shooting incident that killed 13 and wounded 30. The detail spent the night locally to be ready to provide this military grave side service Friday, Nov. 6. The service honored Command Sgt. Major John Gaston Ross, who served in the military 30 years (Navy and Army). He served in three wars (WWII, Korean, Vietnam).
