Southwestern Electric Power Company recently made a $750 donation  to the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center in Winnsboro. Present for the event were  Dan Schmeling, board treasurer; Jennifer Williams, volunteer coordinator; and Jennifer Meyer, SWEPCO manager of external affairs. The Advocacy Center currently covers Camp, Delta, Franklin, Hopkins, Rains, Titus, Wood and Upshur counties. Since its beginning  in 1998,  the center has provided services to more than 4,000 children and to thousands of other secondary victims of abuse.
