Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The annual Blue and Gold  banquet for Mount Vernon Cub Scout Pack 271 is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 in the Family Life Center of First United Methodist Church. The banquet is open for  registered pack members, families and special invited guests. Families are asked to bring a salad, dessert or vegetable side dish.  Boys will be recognized for various accomplishments throughout the year, and some will receive advancement in rank.
