Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Sixty entries have been registered for the annual Mount Vernon / Saltillo Young Farmer Project Show. The event is this Saturday, March 27 at the Livestock Pavilion located on FM 115 in Mount Vernon. Exhibitor check-in is at 7:30 a.m. followed by the heifer and broiler weigh-in at 8 a.m. The steer and goat weigh-in is at 8:30 a.m. The broiler show is at 8:30 a.m. and the breeder beef judging is at 8:45 a.m.The goat judging is at 9 a.m. Dairy heifer judging and shop project judging is at 10 a.m., followed by the steer judging at 11 a.m.  For more details, see the March 25 edition of the Optic-Herald.
