The 2010 Friends of Scouting campaign is underway in Franklin County, according to Jordan Ramsay, campaign chairman for the Boy Scouts of America.
Local adult volunteers are  approaching businesses and individuals to contribute to support the Boy Scouts of America’s local district and council.
Friends of Scouting (FOS) is the annual giving campaign of the NeTseO (Northeast Texas Southeastern Oklahoma) Trails Council, BSA. The council provides the necessary funds to ensure a quality Scouting program for youth. For more information, see the March 25 edition of the Optic-Herald.
