Parents should be getting prepared for the annual Easter in the Park event to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 3 at Don Meredith Stadium in Mount Vernon.
The annual event will kick-off with the Easter Parade. Parents and their children are  encouraged to prepare miniature floats to enter in the event. Other games and activities will be provided throughout  the event for children of all ages. For more details, see the March 25 edition of the Optic-Herald.
