Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Members of the South Franklin Volunteer Fire Department will have a fish fry on Saturday, May 1 at 4 p.m. at Station One, located at the corner of FM 1448 and FM 115. Fried fish and all the trimmings will be served at the event for a donation. All proceeds from the event will go toward the purchase of equipment for the department’s new vehicles.
