A “Basic Computer Training” course has been set at the Franklin County Library. The two part course is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 11 and 12. Lisa Lawrence, director of the Franklin County Library, noted that this would be the last beginner class until September. The class is limited to seven to eight students. Individuals are encouraged to sign up for the class now to assure themselves a seat. The course will cover very basic operation of the computer, stressed Mrs. Lawrence. Material covered includes keyboarding, use of a mouse and setting up web e-mails.To register for the class call the Franklin County Library at 903-537-4916. There is no cost to attend.
