A crowd of more than 500 attended the National Day of Prayer luncheon at the Family Life Center at the First United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 6. A taped message by Franklin Graham was projected for attendees. Dr. Ramesh Richard, at right, was the keynote speaker for the event.
