A ribbon cutting ceremony was recently conducted for Our Place restaurant at 104 E. Main St. on the south side of the downtown Mount Vernon square. Jon and Crystal Copeland, their daughters, Taylor, Chloe, and Kaleigh, and their grandmother, Carol Pascoe, were joined at the ceremony by members of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. The family friendly restaurant serves lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner on Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
