The Franklin County Historical Association and community were beneficiaries of the latest Eagle Scout project.
Life Scout Daniel Hicks planned, organized, and directed the rehabilitation of the exterior of the historic Parchman house as his project. Through the Eagle Project members of local Boy Scout Troop 271 scraped pealing paint, caulked cracks, removed, repaired and painted screens, washed the exterior to remove mildew and then applied a base primer coat of mildew resistant paint to the home.
