Jim Clark, treasurer of the Red River County Historical Society, will be the guest speaker at the Franklin County Genealogical Society meeting a 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16 at the Research Room located at 110 East Main St. Mr. Clark will present a slide show featuring select images from the book, Images of Clarksville and Red River County, and the details on how the book was put together.  For more information, see the Aug. 20 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
