Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Volunteer singers are needed to perform as part of a community wide choir for the Sunday, Aug. 22  prayer service focused on the new elementary school building and the local school district in general. The service will begin at 11 a.m. with Bro. Pepper Puryear of First Baptist Church delivering the message. Following the message, those in attendance will walk from the church to the new elementary school. See the Aug. 12 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information.
