Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Students and individuals in the community are encouraged to begin thinking now of ideas to decorate a float or vehicle for the Mount Vernon Homecoming Parade on Monday, Sept. 6 in downtown Mount Vernon. All organizations at the school or community wide are encouraged to think of a creative theme for a float and use their imagination to make it come alive.  Anyone interested in entering the parade should contact the high school cheerleader sponsor Jennifer Bailey at 903-537-3267, ext. 4303, and leave a message.
