The date for the annual Handicapable Rodeo in Franklin County has been set for Friday, Sept. 24. Local families with special needs children or adults who are not active with either a therapy or work group are urged to register their family member to participate.
Deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 10. Registration sheets were sent to all past participating organizations in mid-August. Families with individuals must request a form from the local organizers. Donations for the event can be made at Guaranty Bond Bank or mailed to P. O. Box 501, Mount Vernon, Tex. 75457.
