More than 30 members of Mount Vernon Cub Scout Pack 271 started their year off with the fun of a Raingutter Regatta Monday, Sept. 27. Wolf Leader Julie Walker and Asst. Ldr. Julie Bartko supervise and cheer on Bryson Porter, Blake Hollingsworth and Spencer Bartko at the regatta races. Winners of this year’s regatta were Porter, first; Michael Duck, second; Brent Baird, third; and Brian Baird, fourth. Each received a place ribbon.
