Dixie Tabb, the four year-old daughter of Dee Norwood of Bogata, is improving. She was kicked in the head by a horse at a barrel race on Sunday, Sept. 19. She was transported to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, where she has remained since the incident. Miss Tabb is awake and responding to noises and voices, but has not shown any recognition of people or pictures of animals. For more information, see the Sept. 30 edition of the Optic-Herald.
