Linda Henton and Ashley Rosales took top honors at the 26th annual CountryFest Stew Cook-Off Contest. The auction of the winning stews earned $1,450 for the sponsoring Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. For more details, see the Oct. 14 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
