Twelve Texas wineries and vineyards are to be featured at the inaugural "Wine in the Pines" event in Mount Vernon. The booths will be open from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 and from 8 a.m. to about 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. The Wine in the Pines is part of the Franklin County Farmers Market around the plaza in downtown Mount Vernon. The tasting features only Texas made wines.
