Army Sergeant William Bush took time during his holiday visit to Mount Vernon to help David Chaney and the Community Food Bank of Franklin County deliver Christmas baskets requested after the distribution of the Christmas For All program baskets. The food bank was responsible for the 20 late requests received for food assistance. The food bank volunteers filled a total of 65 requests for Christmas food assistance as part of their ministry. All non perishable food items left from the initial Christmas For All food basket distribution were given to the Community Food Bank to assist families in need over the coming months.
