Louise Cook Walsh was the featured guest speaker for the monthly meeting of the Shakespeare Club of Mount Vernon Thursday, March 17
at the Kings Country Club House. Mrs. Walsh is the author of Ties that Bind a Georgetown Memoir 1904-1909. She is the great-granddaughter of Dr. James Fleming, who practiced medicine in Mount Vernon. The family was involved in banking (First National Bank of Mount Vernon), as well as in the peach and pecan harvesting business.
