Members of the Mount Vernon Order of the Eastern Star will be hosts for a fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 16 at the Mount Vernon Lodge Hall on the I-30 Access Rd. The community is encouraged to attend the event and sign up for a door prize, an original painting by Mount Vernon artist, Kay Howell.
