Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Members of the Mount Vernon Key Club were on hand Monday, May 16 to make a $3,438.45 donation to the Communities in School Program. CIS Coordinators Cynthia Linseisen and Amy Ford accepted the funds. The funds will be used for CIS operations. Funds were collected by the Key Club at their annual bake-off event in April. Earlier this year the Key Club donated $500 to CIS.
