The Franklin County Library’s recent renovation project earned the facility the Northeast Texas Library System’s Project of the Year Award.
The local library won in the category for libraries serving populations of 6,000 to 14,999. Lisa Lawrence, Library Director, accepted the award on behalf of the staff, volunteers and supporters. The award was presented at the NETLS Annual Membership Meeting and Awards Luncheon Tuesday, May 24 in the atrium at the Patty Granville Arts center in Garland.
