“Prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized,” downtown merchant Ginny Hamrick said about the upcoming Summertime Sweets on the Square event.
The Downtown Business Association will be the hosts for the fund raising event planned for Thursday, June 16. The sweets will be served in conjunction with the first in a series of plaza concerts presented by the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. Tickets for the Summertime Sweets on the Square are $10 and all proceeds will be used to replace the lights on the downtown buildings.
