John Tutor shows a rat snake he caught in his yard on Thursday, June 8 to Teresa Cox and Aranda Lund on the downtown plaza. He told the group that as it gets hotter, small critters move closer to homes for water and the snakes follow their prey, but that not all snakes are poisonous.
