Sue Raley of Mount Vernon, her sister-in-law, Geraldine Hicks of Whitewright, and other family and friends celebrated Mrs. Raley’s 95th Birthday on Saturday, July 2. A reception and dinner was given by her children and their spouses at Mi Casita Restaurant. A lifelong resident of Franklin County and long-time Mount Vernon resident, Mrs. Raley was born on July 1, 1916 in the Union Community, southwest of Mount Vernon.
