Tickets for the 43rd annual Miss Mount Vernon Scholarship Pageant are selling fast.
“The contestants are doing a great job of selling. If anyone wants a ticket, they need to purchase them soon,” Heather Bales, event coordinator for the sponsoring Franklin County Chamber of Commerce said.
The sale of the tickets will be used to determine the winner of the six age divisions should there be a tie of points awarded by the judges. A Ticket Sales Award trophy will be presented to the top sales girl in each of the divisions. See the August 4 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information about the event.
