The Rodeo Queen and Princess contests and the Go Rodeo Festival are taking shape. There are 21 young ladies vying for four titles to represent Franklin County for the coming year. The events are being planned around the annual Sheriff’s Posse Labor Day Rodeo which occurs on Saturday and Sunday nights of Labor Day weekend each year. The festival will include a street dance, parade, concert on the downtown plaza, all-you-can-eat beans and corn bread event, and kids games on the plaza.
