A free street dance will kick off the festivities for the Go Rodeo weekend on Friday, September 2. “The street dance has been a lot of fun the past few years,” Ronny Easterling said. “I am glad we have returned to that tradition.” The Sulphur River Cowboy Church Band will provide live music for the event.For more information, see the August 25 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
