Teresia Wims, second row, fourth from left, recently attended the annual meeting of the Forest Trails Board in Nacogdoches. Mrs. Wims works with other board members to promote regional tourism for East Texas. The Texas Forest Trail Region is a regional tourism initiative developed by the THC that fosters regional economic development by promoting heritage tourism through the preservation of cultural and historic resources and regional partnerships.
