Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Michael Martell of MJM Painting uses masonry paint to enhance the lettering on the Mount Vernon Cemetery entrance marker. Mr. Martell pressure washed and acid washed the stone columns  to remove years of dirt and moss that had accumulated. He will apply a masonry gloss sealer that will bring out the color in the stones. The colomns were erected in 1934. The Shakespeare Club and the Mount Vernon Cemetery Association made arrangements for the facelift.
