Family cooking teams took top honors at the 27th annual CountryFest Stew Cook-Off Contest. The auction of the winning stews earned $1,025 for the sponsoring Franklin County Chamber of Commerce.
Keke Godfrey and Toby Godfrey joined forces and claimed the top honors in the beef stew division. The winning cooks for all divisions in the CountryFest Stew cook off were Garry Romines, Marie Chester, Toby and Keke Godfrey, Deryl and Dustin Carr, Katie Patterson, Linda Henton, Patricia Dorner, Heather Parkerson, Edna Hunnicutt, and Favi Macias.
