The annual Community Thanksgiving Church Service in Franklin County is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at the First United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon. This year’s message will be given by Mount Vernon Elementary School Principal Pablo De Santiago. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend the event to celebrate Thanksgiving.
