A workshop for youngsters to create a holiday gingerbread house is being planned in conjunction with the annual Christmas Festival in downtown Mount Vernon on Saturday, Dec. 3. The Franklin County Arts Alliance is sponsoring the event, targeted for children ages five to 12. See the November 17 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald to register for the event.
