In an effort to get more help to those who critically need it, the Franklin County Child Protective Services Board is combining its efforts with the local Community In Schools program at the Mount Vernon Independent School District. This means there will no “Angel Trees” up in the community this year. Instead individuals, families, businesses and community groups can adopt a family through the Community In Schools program.
