Bonnet maker’s life subject at Shakespeare meeting

A Bonnet maker’s life was the subject of  the Shakespeare Club meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at the home of Linda Bolton. Vice-president Linda Edmondson introduced Lavyn Sisco, a retired kindergarten teacher at Sulphur Springs ISD. Mrs. Sisco’s program was a historical presentation of Frances Thornton, who was born in 1866 and was successful business woman.  Her primary business was making bonnets.
