The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Pete Dyer’s residence on FM 71 west as the winner of the June Rural Beauty Spot award. Mr. Dyer, center, was joined by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bob McFarland for the presentation. His yard features an abundance of tiger lillies and flowering crape myrtles. Nominations for the award can be given at the Chamber of Commerce office on Kaufman St.
