Sixteen girls are vying for four titles as royalty for the Mount Vernon Sheriffs Posse’s 2012 Championship Rodeo Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. This year, there are four Junior Princess, five Princess, five Junior Queen, and two  Queen division contestants, according to Katrina Easterling and Nancy Smith, event coordinators for the contest.
