Jerrilyn Hammond leads the parade carrying the Kids Under Construction Olympic torch as the daycare celebrated Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics with their version of the Olympics on Friday, July 27. The original outdoor fun was moved to the gym due to unexpected rain.  Students two years through twelve years old participated in games similar to the Summer Olympic games with archery, discus throw, soccer, basketball, Olympic obstacle courses and long jump.  The games ended with an awards ceremony in which all students were given their own Olympic medal.
