Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Pat Wims has loaned a quilt to the  Franklin County Genealogy for display in the windows in August. The quilt belonged to Pat’s mother-in-law, Mrs. Addie Wims, who taught the First Baptist Church Gleaner’s Sunday School Class until 1947.  The quilt, which was made in 1940 by The Gleaners class, has 48 names embroidered on it.  It will be on display throughout the month of August at the Genealogy Society at 110 East Main St.
