Jerald Davis of Clarksville will be the featured speaker at the next meeting of the Franklin Coumty Genealogical Society on Aug. 20. Mr. Davis has researched black history prior to, during, and after the Civil War, in the original Red River County which includes today’s Franklin and Titus Counties.
