A blood drive in honor of Tim Dillard of Mount Vernon will be from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at Lowe’s Distribution Center in Mount Vernon. All blood collected the day of the event will be credited to Mr. Dillard’s account with Carter Blood Care. He was diagnosed with Myloid Luekemia about three weeks ago.
