Advanced registration for the 25th annual CountryFest 42 Tournament is now underway at any of the First National bank’s four locations no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12. An entry fee of $5 per person is set for each participant and cash prizes will be awarded at the event on Saturday, Oct. 13. See the Oct. 4 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details.
